About:China Transit Visa

I will fly to Beijing and then transfer to Tianjin to get on a cruise ship. Do I need a visa?

Henk, if your total layover time in PRC is less than 24 hours, and the cruise ship will go to a third country or region instead of the last one you fly from, you don’t need to apply for an entry permit because you can use the 24 hour direct transit.
