flight reservations

I tried to check our flight reservations using the reservations numbers you provided(and passenger names) in the Air China Airlines website but the system was unable to locate our reservations. Is there something else that needs to be provided to the agent when we get to the Check-in counter of Air China Airlines (besides passenger names and the reservation numbers you provided)?

Sometimes due to the abbreviation of the names if the name is too long, you will not be able to find the reservation based on your passport number, full name and the booking number. But pleaes rest assured that we have issue the tickets properly for you already. Actually, when exchanging the boarding pass, you just need to show your passports. The reservation number is not required according to our experience.
