About:144-Hour Visa-Free Transit

144 hour Visa From Australia

Myself and a college are traveling to Suburban Shanghai in August/September staying 5 days and retuning to Australia.
Do we qualify, and what do we need to do prior to our trip?

If so, you don’t qualify for the 144 hour free transit in Shanghai because you will fly back to Australia after staying for 5 days in Shanghai. You need to have a third country as the destination before going back to Australia or apply for a tourist L type beforehand.
