What is the best way to reach Astor house hotel from Pudong airport?

From the airport, take the subway line 2 to East Nanjing Road with a transfer at Guanglan Road. Take the Exit 2 and stroll east for another 550 yards to the bund, and turn north for another 600 yards forwards, you will find the apartment.

If taking a taxi, the fare may be around CNY180.

Taking the Maglev train...is it possible?

Yes! You can take maglev train from PVG to Longyang Road Station. Then, change to metro line 2 to East Nanjing Road, Exit 2. Follow the above route to get to the hotel. :)
