how to go from Shanghai Railway station to Astor house hotel

Arriving from Suzhou. Can I take a subway to the Astor House Hotel?

Yes, you can. Take metro line 1 to Hanzhong Rd, and then take line 12 there. Get off at Tiantong Rd and take a taxi to your hotel.
Or you can take a taxi directly, which takes about 10 minutes and CNY20 or so.
