About:72-Hour Visa-Free Transit

Is this route ok for 72 hour transit visa: San Francisco to Xian, Xian to Taiwan?

Also, can I get a 72 hour free transit on my outbound AND my return?

John, if your layover time in Xian for both transits is less than 72 hours respectively, you are eligible for the 72 hour free transit for both legs of your trip.
