About:72-Hour Visa-Free Transit

8 hours layover in bejing

I am a british national .I have a layover in bejing for 8 hours . Do i need a visa to go out bejing and explore for hours...

Riza, you may be required to apply for a free temporary stay permit at the immigration office, and then you can leave the airport and explore Beijing. But you are not allowed to leave Beijing.
