Can I catch a later train with the same ticket if I miss the original one?

I have three hours to make it from the Beijing Capital International Airport to the Beijing West railway station for my 14:00 o'clock trip to Xi'an. Is this enough time to catch the ride and if I miss it, can I use my ticket to catch a later one or do I need to by another ticket?
