I have heard that if you travel to HK and continue further travelling to another country

you don't visa for 7 days ? is it true? my country is in the list of required entry permit. In addition, my friends told me that if you want to get entry permit you need to have at least 20k RMB in your bank card, is it also true?

Amir, based on what I know, it is mainly applicable for those travelers with mainland PRC passport.
As for you, I’m afraid you need to apply for an entry permit in advance. If you want to apply for it, you need to provide the proof of your financial support, but there is no specific amount requirement. Usually, you need to prepare at least USD 100 per day if you will travel there.

Thanks for quick respond. One more question, in HK official website it says i need to have local sponsor and provide info about him. Is it neccessary for everybody ?
