I am a US immigrant. I am planning to have a vacation in the Philippines. Air China has 22 hours layover in Beijing before heading to Manila, Philippines. Do i need a visa to go out of the Beijing airport? How can i avail of the Beijing City Tour? Thank you.

You don’t need it to go out of Beijing airport. You just need to apply for a free temporary stay permit after arrival and then visit the city. If you enter PRC for the first time, you’d better find a travel agency to arrange the short visit for you.
