About:72-Hour Visa-Free Transit

Stopping over in Bejing for about 18hrs. Can I visit the Great Wall of China with the 72hr visa?

I am from The Netherlands, travelling to Sydney with a long stopover in Beijing. Can I visit the Great Wall during my 18 hours stopover with the 72-Hours Free Transit?

Many thanks

Deirdre, you can visit the Great Wall in Beijing but because your layover time is less than 24 hours, you may be required to apply for a temporary stay permit at the airport and then visit the city. And the temporary stay permit is free of charge.
