Great info! I just need clarification on the destination entry permit requirement. I will be coming from Melbourne to Shanghai with a 12 hour lay over before heading to Cambodia, I was planning on getting the entry permit at the airport when arriving in Siem Reap. Do I need to get an entyr permit ahead of time now if I wish to exit into Shanghai for the day?Thank you

You don´t need it ahead if you qualify for a VOA at Cambodia.
