Long Layover in Beijing for 24 hours, From USA to Malaysia

Hi,
I'm the citizen of Malaysia but I have US entry permit and currently working in USA. I'm travel back to Malaysia for vacation but I have long layover in PRC. However, Malaysia is not one of the Visa Free country, but I have US entry permit, can i get the 72-Hour Free Transit?

Appreciate your help.

Alfred, even so, you cannot apply for the 72 hour free transit. If you can make sure that your layover in Beijing is less than 24 hours, the 24 hour direct transit is applicable to your situation. In this way, you don’t need any entry permit.
Otherwise, a transit G type or tourist L type is needed.
