About:Hong Kong Octopus Card

I going to HK for 6 days holidays. Should I get On-Loan Octopus Card or Sold one?

I'm a little confused between both of them. And also what is the different of personalized and standard On-Loan one?

You are suggested to purchase the Standard On-Loan Type.
First of all, the difference between On-Loan and Sold, the On-Loan one has refundable deposit, while Sold one has no deposit and can not be refunded unless you add value to it. And the sold cards have more delicate designs and their selling prices are a bit higher.
In addition, Personalized On-Loan Type is only available for local people. Thus for tourists, you can just choose the Standard One. Hope helpful!

Thanks for the immediate responsed. Does the Sold card has expired date or life time validity? Would it be good if I purchase them so when I return to hk i can add value in it and continue use them again.

The valid time is 1,000 days. If more than that, passengers need to activate the card first and then recharge some money on it.
