is there any hostels in meizhou island?

I want to go to visit the Mazu Temple and I was going on a one day trip, but I read that the island is a very beautiful place and I was thinking staying for 2 days. Is there any hostels or cheap/budget accomodation?Thanks!

Yes! You may stay at Old Captain Theme Hostel at No. 221, North Huandao Street. A standard room costs CNY 160-200. It is fine to check in on the spot. The hotel provides clean environment and nice service. Have a try! :)

Thank you! :)I was reading that to go to the island one could take the ferry but i read somewhere that there's also a bus...what's the best way to get there?Thanks again! :D

You can take bus line 361 to Wenjia Wharf from Putian Bus Station. The buses are available from 6:00 to 18:50, and the fare is CNY 10. Then, take a ferry to the island for CNY 40-50.
