transit visa in urumqi

Hey there, I am from Pakistan, I want to travel from Moscow to Pakistan through china. I want to enter Pakistan via land route (bus) urumqi to Sost (Pakistan). Do i need a transit permit or tourist L type entry permit for my stay in china?

Karim, if you will stay in Urumqi for more than two hours, you need to get a tourist L type or transit G type entry permit. However, as you may not be allowed to apply L type on your own, I'm afraid you need to apply for a G type, but you should have the ticket to get out of China when doing the application. It's likely that your plan is not feasible.
