About:China Tourist Visa

Entry into China via train from Hong Kong.

Hi, I've tried but was unsuccessful in finding information about entering PRC via train, so I would like to know whether or not it is possible to apply for a Chinese (L) visa an have it approved without an air ticket into the country, but rather a train ticket from hong kong to Shenzhen and return? Is this at all possible to your knowledge or must I travel by air?

Brandon, it's possible that you travel by train from HK to Shenzhen and return. However, you should submit round-way tickets from Australia to HK when applying for the L type.
