Cambodian can't get Visa on Arrvial on 22 May 2016

Last month, May 2016, i had sent two of my staffs to attend partner event in Macau, but when both of them reached at Macau airport, the immigration officer didn't let them go out, by checking their wallets and required cash in hands at least $800/pax. Thought my staff showed them they had credit cards for spending, but the officers still sent them back Cambodia.

Does Macau authority requires Cambodian citizen have cash around $800 for enter the Macau? Why?
we had booked flight and hotel ready, why they do not let us go to join event?

I feel sorry for what you said. As far as I know, if you want to apply for VOA there, you need to take your passport, the return ticket, hotel reservation and show money (at least 5,000MOP). Otherwise, your request may be denied.

Thank you for your reply! To avoiding this case, why doesn't embassy give a note on their website and inform to all travel agencies all information to all passengers who want to visit Macau?

Anyway, our partner has invited our staffs to participate an event again around October 2016. Now we should have, valid passport, hotel reservation, round ticket, and at least cash 5,00MOP. Do we need to prepare anything beside that?

Kevin, I find the relevant information at the official website of Macau immigration department.
Based on what I know, the above-mentioned documents are enough.
