no visa needed for 2-hour transit in hk?

Hello, In the summer, I have to stop off in HK for 2 hours to wait for my connecting flight. Am i right in thinking that because it is less than 24 hours I won't need an entry permit?Thanks!Lisanne

Lisanne, you don’t need it for 2-hour transit in HK. It is because UK citizens are allowed to enter HK freely for stay of no more than 180 days.
