student visa with family

Question

I'll be studying in China for about 4 weeks (might stay for 5-6 weeks) and have a husband and daughter I simply can't be away from for that long. Are they able to apply for their own entry permits separately? Are they able to just go on vacation without an entry permit? What is the correct process for going as a family while I study?

Rachelle, I think they can apply for a tourist L type to go there and then stay with you. Because you just study there for 4 weeks or so and you won’t have a residence permit, they cannot apply for the S type. So, an L type is for their choice.

Student Visa with Family
