Hong Kong - Shenzhen: Mode of Transport

Hi,

I would be travelling from HK in early June.

I would arrive in HK Airport early morning around 530am, and would like to catch a cab to SZ. Which would be the nearest checkpoint- Luo Hu / Futian?

On the last day in SZ I would like to try the train from SZ - HK. Could you guide me on the Station that I should be taking (i will be staying in Dongmen area).

Well, Luohu Port is a little bit nearer to HKIA.
Besides the taxi, upon landing, there are also many direct coaches that can take you to SZ. The earliest schedule is at 06:50. The ticket fare is about 220 HKD per person. It takes around 2 hours on the way.
About the return way, no train operates between HK and SZ. Do you refer to the subway? If yes, from Dongmen Area, you are suggested to take a taxi to get to Luohu Port first. Then pass the border and enter HK. To the HKIA, take East Rail Line to Sheung Shui Station, Exit D1. Then transfer to bus no.A43 to arrive at the terminal building 1 directly.
