About:

144 hour visa in Shanghai

Hi. We are arriving by cruise ship from Hong Kong in to Shanghai for 1 day. We leave Shanghai and go to Jeju in South Korea and then to Beijing. Please can you tell me if I can use 144 hour visa for my visit to Shanghai. I have a single entry visa for Beijing. Thanks

Hi Debby, if you take the cruise from Hong Kong to Shanghai and leave for Jeju, and the layover time is not more than 24 hours, you can enjoy the 24h free transit policy, so that visa is not required, but you need to confirm this with your cruise company.
