Exchanging cash for cash?

Hi, if I take Australian dollars in cash to China will it be easier to change for Yuan if I have $100 notes, or is it better to have smaller denominations?
Thanks

Oh, don't worry. You can easily exchange the Australian Dollars into RMB in banks in China, such as Bank of China.
Just use the $100 notes. It's ok for this denominations.
