can you sleep anywhere on the great wall?!

i want to hike from jiankou to mutianyu, i want to watch the sunset and sunrise on the wall at any point and finish the hike wih the slide at mutianyu . can you sleep anywhere under the stars or camping?! thanks!!

Jiankou section is very dangerous and it is not advised to camp there if it is the first time to go there. Someone used to camp over zhengbeitai, but it has been included into Mutianyu scenic area and there may be staff stoping you. I know Xiangshuihu section has a camp site, but there are many camp lovers there. If you donn't mind, you can go there.
