Visit to HK

hello, my husband plan to visit HK for several days, may i know what are the requirements to visit HK, is there need for hotel reservation and itinerary to show up for inspection?

Jonalyn, if he goes there for no more than 14 days, no entry permit is needed. He just needs to take his passport, the return ticket, hotel reservation and enough travel fees with him to show up for inspection.

Dear, the hotel reservation is not necessary and it may be inspected randomly.

General speaking, you will need to have sufficient funds upon arrival to HKSAR. It's not required to have a booked accommodation ahead of arrival, but you may be asked to provide details of where you will be staying in HK by the Immigration officer, or how much funds are you carrying with you. The questions varies case by case and it all depends on the Immigration officer who's permitting you to land in HK.
