chinese transit visa for 3- 4 days

I am a indian citizen age 72 wife 68 years, travelling to USA with chinese airlines, want stop over in PRC for 3-4 days, so, please guide how to transit in PRC. or how to get chinese transit entry permit.Please help, THANKING YOU.Sincerely yours.B.D. SHARMA.
