is tourist visa needed if use local chinese licensed tour company?

My group 8 people will embark at Tianjin port after cruise ended. If we hire a private tour with  local Chinese licensed tour company for 3 days Bejing tour. Do we need tourist L types to stay in Bejing for 3 days?

Ann, yes, you need to apply for a tourist L type for your stay in Beijing for 3 days, and you should apply for it beforehand.
