is it possible to visit both juyongguanbadaling on the same day?

Hi - I land at Beijing airport on 21st May at 10:30am ... I want to drop off my bags at my hotel near the airport and head immediately to the Great Wall. I would ideally like to see both Juyongguan and Badaling and return to BJ by the night Is this possible to do? Are there are public transport options (train, bus) to these locations? If not, what is the most recommended transport option? Do I need to book this transport ahead of time and what is the approximate cost - can I pay in USD or does it have to be local currency?Lots of questions - Thanks in advance for your repliesCheers,Ramanan

I’m afraid one-day may not be enough to cover the two sections. For one day trip, you can only choose one of them. In my eyes, Badaling is recommended.In order to leave enough time to visit the Wall, you may take a taxi from your hotel to BJ North Railway Station first. The taxi ride should require around 50min and cost CNY100. Then take train S2 to go to the Wall. It takes about 1h and you should pay CNY6 per person for a one-way trip. After staying there for 3h, reverse the trip to go back to your hotel.Generally, you don't have to book the ticket in advance, for there should not be a lot of passengers on that day, and it can only be paid by Chinese notes. For your convenience, you can exchange it at a bank counter before you start this tour.Enjoy your time!
