About:72-Hour Visa-Free Transit

72 hour visa exemption - Time and departure info

Hello, I will travel from PEN to DMK (Fri 17 Jun), then DMK to PVG (arrive 05:30 Sat 18 Jun), then return from PVG to KUL (01:20 Tue 21 Jun), do I still qualify for TWOV? It meets the 3rd country requirement, but in the end my final destination is PEN where I started from. Any issue with this?

Carles, as long as your route meets the 3rd country requirement, it's ok. It doesn't matter if the final destination is the same as your departure country. But if you are a Malaysian citizen, I'm afraid you can't enjoy the 72/144-hour free transit.

Thank you Sally ! I travel with a passport from 1 of the 51 approved countries. One more Q if you don't mind...do I need to get an immigration stamp in Bangkok? or not needed.
