About:72-Hour Visa-Free Transit

Passport valid for less than 6 months

As I asked before I intend to travel from Singapore to Xiamen and then within 72 hours from Xiamen to Hong Kong and then from Hong Kong to Singapore. I just discovered that my passport is valid till mid-October 2016, i.e. less than 6 months. Would this be an issue in either Xiamen or Hong Kong? Thanks.
