About:Shanghai Public Transportation Card

Can one pay for the Shanghai transport card and an initial deposit with a credit card?

Or do you have to pay CNY in cash?

Well, I'm afraid that you cannot purchase the transportation card by using the credit card. Thus for your convenience, you'd better to prepare enough cash in advance. :)
