About:Shanghai Long-Distance Bus

Hi I need to travel from Shanghai to Guizhou on June 6th. Which is the best bus route?

I will not have my passport with me at the time, as it will be in a visa processing process in the U.S Embassy.
I heard that I cannot travel by train without my passport at the time of Travel. That is why I am choosing bus service. Can anybody help me with more information on the topic? Thank you

Well, Guizhou Province covers a large area. Are you going to Guiyang?
If yes, there is no direct long-distance bus between these two places. You can take a bus to Chongqing from the General Bus Station at 08:20. The tirp takes about 21 hours. The fare is CNY 383 per person. Upon arrival, transfer to a bus to arrive at Guiyang. The buses are available from 8:00 to 17:40. The trip takes about 4 to 5 hours. The fare is CNY 145 per person.
By the way, you are advised to take the copy of your passport's data page and Chinese visa page for possible inspections. :)
