About:72-Hour Visa-Free Transit

Travel from Manilla to Guangzhou to Bangkok

Hi. I am Dutch and would like to travel from Manilla to Guangzhou to Bangkok. There is not enough time left to apply for a normal visa, so I am looking for alternatives. My stay in Guangzhou would be shorter than 72 hours. Reading the info above it should be possible to use this 72-hours free transit. As I am not a very experienced traveler it would be nice to get some confirmation upfront. Can you help me with that?

Bob, don’t worry! You are eligible for the 72 hour free transit in Guangzhou if you travel like that. Please make sure that your flight doesn't stop in any other China mainland cities.
