About:Marriage Registration in China

I am a South African Citizen and Marriage Officer. Can I marry my South African son in China?

My sons is getting married in china next week. Can I also officiate at the wedding and register it in South Africa?

His fiancée is from Equador.

Leaving for Nanjing tomorrow.

Wesley, if your son will register marriage in the local Civil Affairs Bureau, he should have his marriage certificate firstly notarized by local notary public, and then authenticated by the SA embassy in PRC. In this way, you don't need to officiate at the wedding and register it in South Africa.
