a recommendation for 5 hours in taiyuan

Hi, I have 5 hours to visit between the morning train from Pingyao, & then at 15:00 I have to take a train again, to Beijing.What is the best plan for such a short time in the city?I want to see the best of her, but I also don't want to miss the train..

Well, considering your limited time, the Coal Museum of China presents the uniqueness of the city, even Shanxi Province, which is famous for large volume of coal. It is around 6km away, so you can take a taxi to reach. Generally, 2-3h can be totally enough for a close approach to the museum.
