About:72-Hour Visa-Free Transit

Hong Kong to Shenzhen for 2 days

I am a dual passport holder (UK and Israel).

Am I correct in understanding that I can go from Hong Kong to Shenzhen for 48 hours with a visa obtained at the Lo-hu crossing (i.e. no advance-ordered entry permit required)?

Victor, if you hold UK passport to enter Shenzhen, you can get a 5-day VOA there. In this case, you don’t need to apply for an entry permit in advance.
But if you enter with Israel passport, I’m afraid it’s difficult to get the VOA. You should apply for an entry permit ahead of your trip.
