About:China Transit Visa

Vietnamese transit to work on ship, how?

Hi. can i ask u one question?
Someone invite me work on ship in Shanghai,so they tell me to get Chinese Transit Visa. I want to ask u if i can get out from aiport and go to ship?

Vivi, if after you board the ship, it will leave PRC, you can apply for a transit G type. And you are allowed to leave the airport.

But i want to know when i get to shanghai aiport, i can just leave aiport and go outside or need to apply for a temporaty stay permit at the aiport???

Vivi, if you have applied for a G type entry permit, you don't need to apply for a temporary stay permit at the airport.
