Inquiry about HongKong & Macau Visa applying

Dear,

Good day,

I'm from Vietnam who has been working in Malaysia 4 years and hold Malay working permit.

I've plan to visit Hongkong and Macau around 9 days from June 25th - July 3th 2016. Please help me to clear my some below concerned question:

1. It will be late or not if I submit my documents for applying visa on 9th May?
2. What exactly documents that I need to submit?
3. Where can I submit my documents in Malaysia?
4. I want to go to Macau as well so that do I need to apply Macau visa also? I meant I go to Hongkong and stay there around 4 days then I will go to Macau around 3 days, after that I will be back to Hongkong again to make a fly back to Malaysia. So what kind of visa should I apply for entry to both of Hongkong and Macau?

I hope that I can get your answer ASAP. Thank you so much in advance.

1. Zhen, after you submit your application, if the embassy deals with your application by itself, it usually takes 4 working days, so it’s not late. But if your application is transferred to HK immigration department, 4 – 6 weeks are needed and it’s risky; and if it is transferred to Macau immigration department, it takes 3 weeks or so.
2. If you go there for sightseeing purpose, you should apply for tourist entry permits to the two places. The required documents contain copy of your passport, the application form, a passport-style photo, proof of your financial support, transportation arrangement, hotel reservation, and your travel itinerary, as well as your work permit in Malaysia. And then prepare two applications and apply for two entry permits to HK and Macau respectively.
3. You should submit your application to the embassy of PRC to apply for it.

Yes, the address is correct. HK and Macau application forms are different. You don't have to deposit a lot of money in your bank account, but the more, the better.
