How long would it take (how many minutes?) for me to travel from Bell tower area to north train station? Using MRT line 2.

It takes about 30 minutes from Bell Tower to North Train station by subway line 2. If you are going to take the train, you'd better depart at least 1.5 hours before departure if you are not familiar with the subway system and the railway station.
