Travel to Hongkong and China

Hi, I am Iwan from Indonesia with Indonesian Passport holder. currently I am studying at Perth, Australia. Can I apply the China tourist L type in Australia? I am going for holiday with my parent to Hongkong for 2 days, and then we will go to mainland PRC for 10 days to go for holiday and visit our family members in Fuzhou. Do I need both Hongkong and mainland PRC Visa?

Iwan, based on what I know, Indonesian passport holders can enjoy free entry to HK for a stay of not exceeding 30 days. So, you don’t need to apply for an entry permit to HK.
As for travel to mainland PRC, you should apply for a tourist L type in advance and you can apply for it in Australia.
