144 hour visa

We wont hold a valid visa for a third country as the other countries we are visiting on the ruise don't require one...except for Vietnam which will be done on board ship.
Do we still qualify?

According to my experience, you can enjoy 144-hour free visa transit, but I suggest you reconfirm with your local Chinese embassy or the cruise company.
