Work Visa application, what documents are required?

Dear Sir,
i would work at China and staying there more than 1 year, can you advise, what is the requirement and check list for the application.
What type we should apply for? How long to get it if documents submitted completed? How much it cost for the application? Can we authorize person for this application? Where can we do this application? Where to collect if it is done? representative can collect it? How to renew it after it expired and when to renew before the expired date? If i at PRC, can renew at PRC? If i m in Malaysia, where can i do the renewal, how much for the renewal fees?

Hello there! Considering your situation, you should apply for a work Z type.
The required documents include:
1. Your passport and copy of its data page
2. The application form affixed with a passport-style photo
3. Alien employment permit and invitation letter of a duly authorized unit ( your employer will get the two documents for you)
After submitting your application, it takes 4 working days to process it. It costs 88.3 ringgits. You can entrust someone to submit the application to the CVASC for you and then he/she can collect your passport, too.

Because you will apply for work Z type, after you get it and enter PRC, you will apply for a temporary residence permit. When your work Z type is going to expire, you don’t need to renew your work Z type and you can just renew your residence permit 30 days prior to the expiry of the validity period. You cannot do the renewal in Malaysia and you should do it at the exit and entry administration of the local PSB in PRC. It usually costs CNY 168.

1. A passport-style photo refers to a photo similar to the photo attached on your passport. Usually, it should be a recently-taken color photo (bare-head, full face) against a light background.
2. Alien employment permit means “外国人就业证”in Chinese. And “invitation letter of a duly authorized unit” refers to “被授权单位邀请函”in Chinese.
3. Work Z type means work Z visa and it is usually valid for 3 months.
4. Work Z type can only allow you to enter PRC once. But after you enter and get the temporary residence permit, you can use the residence permit to enter or exit many times within its period.
5. You cannot apply for the temporary residence permit in Malaysia. You should apply for it after you enter China.
6. Usually, your company will apply for the temporary residence permit for you. The required documents include a passport-style photo, the alien employment permit, your passport, the temporary accommodation registration form, the application form, and medical report as well as the company’s business license and Certificate of Organization Code (copies).
7. The documents for renewal include your residence permit, the alien employment permit, your passport, the temporary accommodation registration form, the application form, a passport-style photo, the alien employment permit, your passport, the temporary accommodation registration form, the application form, and medical report as well as the company’s business license and Certificate of Organization Code (copies). You can do it by yourself or entrust someone to do it for you. It takes 15 working days and costs CNY400.
8. Local PSB in PRC refers to the local public security bureau in China.

2. Alien employment permit and invitation letter of a duly authorized unit ( your employer will get the two documents for you) What is the type of the documents? In CHINESE words?
3. What is work Z type? More than 1 years?
4. Work Z type allowed for unlimited entry within its period?
5. Can we apply temporary residence permit in Malaysia?
6. If cannot, what is the documents need to prepared for the application? How long the process will be? How much it cost? Must apply by our own or can authorized anyone to apply or collect it?
