What is appropriate gift when meeting parents of daughters' Tiawanese boyfriend?

I will be visiting my daughter and her boyfriend in Taiwan this summer. The plans include for me to meet his parents, who are divorced. What gift should I give the mother and what gift should I give the father when I meet them?

You may think about bringing some local snacks, accessories, or cosmetics to the mother and American wines, food, or health-care products to the father.
