Hi, Can I get 30 days VOA in Sanya with belgium nationality?

Hi,
I live in Belgium and hold belgian passport.
Can I fly from Hong Kong to Sanya and get a 30 days single entry tourist visa on arrival with which I can also visit Mainland China? And how much is the cost please?

Koen, there is no 30-day VOA in Sanya. You can possibly get 15-day VOA there, but it cannot allow you to travel all round mainland PRC. it costs CNY 168.
You can apply for a 30-day tourist L type in your home country and then travel to Sanya and travel around mainland PRC.

I have read that I can get a 15 day visa and possibility to extend for another 15 days.
But when I can extend they don't specify. And if I read correctly I can use the visa also on the mainland.
If that is the case I want to extend the visa before I leave Hainan , meaning after maybe three days.
Because I think I can extend only in Hainan, and don t want to backtrack to Hainan just to extend it.
Still a lot of confusion but thanks for the help off course!
