9 hrs in guangzhou airport

Question

I am a indian citizen coming from US on my way to india, I arrive at CAN at 10.30 pm and my flight to india is next day morning at 7.30 am.I do not wish to go out of the airport.Do I get some place in airport to sleep? and do I need a transit visa if not going out of airport.

VIP hourly lounges are available in the airport, but I heard it is only for first class and business class tickets holders. If you happen to hold the economy class ticket, go to the Pullman Airport, opposite the airport, and have a rest. For this case, no transit visa is needed. Just apply for a stay pemit at the customs and you will be allowed to get out for the accommodation.
