About:Shanghai Pudong Airport

16 Hour overnight Layover at Pudong Airport

Can I stay at the airport overnight or do I have to get a hotel? I was hoping to explore for a while, then just take the maglev or the taxi back to stay overnight at the airport.
And do I have to check in again if I leave the airport?

Oh, you can of course stay overnight in the waiting hall of the airport without having a hotel. As I know, if you get the boarding pass for the onward flight when landing and have your lugagge handled, it is no need to recheck in.
