About:72-Hour Visa-Free Transit

We'll arrive by air and leave by cruise ship inside 72 hrs. Do we need visas. We are australians.

Trevor, if so, you cannot use the 72 hour free transit because it is only applicable to those traveling by air. So you should apply for a tourist L type or other types in advance.

Well it depends in which chinese city you arrive.
Shanghai, Nanjing and Hangzhou allow the departure by sea (but you must apply for the 144h twov).
