Hi,I get 3 weeks vacation from my office to come to PRC with my wife on S1 type. Thought I could get residence permit within 3 weeks. But, here it took too long to get Foreign expert working permit (almost 3 weeks). So, looking the speed of processing assuming it will take more days. Question is that, Can I exit PRC to go back to my home country without getting temporary residence permit?Thanks.

Ahmad, if you didn’t get the temporary residence permit, I’m afraid you cannot exit and re-enter again. Once you exit PRC, you need to re-apply for an entry permit if you want to re-enter.

You can exit. It’s possible for you to re-apply for another S1 type. But if you just stay for a short time, you can just apply for an S2 type.

Hi,

Ahmad, if you didn’t get the temporary residence permit, I’m afraid you cannot exit and re-enter again. Once you exit PRC, you need to re-apply for an entry permit if you want to re-enter.
