About:Top 8 Reasons Why Your China Visa Gets Rejected

Can I do this? layover in Shanghai then to Beijing

So I have two layovers in mainland China before flying to Frankfurt, 12 hour layover in Shanghai then to Beijing. I will be there for 60hrs because I was planning on using the 72hr visa free entry. My question is, is it possible for me to receive free entry for both cities?

Sorry, I'm coming from Taiwan but I'm American, so I have an American passport.

Sorry Angelica, you can't use the 72-hour free transit because you stop over in two cities.
