Transit visa, 22 hours layovers in Hong Kong

I am traveling to Nepal from Vancouver and I am a Nepali national. I have layover period of 22 hours in Hong Kong. Do I need to apply for transit visa to go out of the airport for few hours? How long does the processing take and what would be the cost of getting a TV?

Aneeta, you need to apply for it. If it's the first time you visit HK, you need to post your application documents to the HK Immigration Department. The processing takes about 4-6 weeks. And it costs HKD 100.
